"No," Orlando grumbled, swaying in the doorway. He'd be fine if the damn room would stop spinning. And if Karl would turn on the air. "Too hot." "I know." A strong arm slid around Orlando's waist, steadied him. Orlando leaned into the comforting warmth, glad there were only two of Karl now, as opposed to that morning's foursome that had shown up before breakfast. "Hot," he muttered, lashes fluttering as they swept down to rest on flushed cheeks. Soft lips brushed his temple, and Orlando could feel them curve into a smile. "I know, love," Karl said, steering him back towards the bedroom. "I'll fix that." "Thirsty." Orlando knew he was being petulant, but damn it, he didn't feel well. "Fix that, too," Karl said, tucking the sheet around Orlando once he'd settled against the pillows. "Bring you some juice." "And some crackers?" Fever-bright eyes peered at Karl through long lashes. A long moment passed in silence as Karl studied him. Then he smiled. "A few. And maybe some soup." Orlando just nodded and curled up under the sheet, feeling thoroughly miserable as Karl kissed his forehead and went off to see about lunch.
